Vern Buchanan: No Pay Raise for Congress

Well that's admirable of you Vern.  I do you like most things you say.  I know being a congress man or woman is not easy.  Most people in their own lives cant decide whats for dinner.  Regardless, back to my point...  I agree --- NO Raises! ---  But I'm anteing up and saying...  How about pay-cuts too?  It's just like most Americans that are employees, if they were lucky enough to hold a job, have kept their job but have taken pay-cuts to do so.  This ideology goes for all government employees - local, state, and federal.  I wonder what American would be like if Congress made 7.25 an hour?  Well, I think they should get paid minimum wage, for they are doing a civic-type duty to their country... kinda like jury duty.  One just sits, listens, and hits the "yeh" or "neh" button.  C'mon!
